JB took photos of fireworks of the Bastille Day. I myself did not bring my old Nikon Coolpix 2500 since we have only one tripod and it is better to use JB’s Canon Powershot S70.
On July 13th, we took the photos of the fireworks held in our town where we live and on July 14th we took the ones in Paris. It was at the Champ de Mars. As usual Champs de Mars and Trocadero was jammed by hundreds and thousands of people. The fireworks started at 10.30PM but people started to come at these places in the afternoon, having picnic with family and friends.
This year, JB and I came so late, we arrived at the area around 8PM and it took us about an hour to get a place to park the car. And of course the Champ de Mars was already packed, so we took a place at the side of the Champ. Well, it was actually not a goody goody place to take pictures but it was better than nothing, by the way it was our fault we did not get there earlier…
