One more Indonesian word that my little boy learnt yesterday. Lidah (En: tongue). It happened just like that, he was sitting on his high chair and playing with his tongue. When I saw this, I just said “lidah” and I kept saying it everytime he got his tongue out. I had big smile as we do this. As he stopped playing with his tongue, I said “lidah”, just want to see if he understood what I said. and YES!!!
I showed this when his Papa came from work. It was just so funny! Well, ok, it is not polite to stick your tongue out, but I think he does this because he will have new teeth. By this time, his Papa also says “langue” (French for tongue), as he plays his tongue.
Now, our baby understands two more new words that has one meaning! Lidah (Indonesian) and Langue (French), both means tongue in English.
