Our little one is now 19 months old, he does not talk yet! The words he can say (and understand the meaning):

mama
papa
teta (for kereta the short for kereta api which means ‘train’)
nyeuh (for meow)

Recently, he added some more words like:

moo moo (like a cow)
woof woof (like a dog) but he does not say it much

My 18 months old boy talk the more and more , or I should say it is a parentese to be exact.  He talk to us, to his himself, to his toys, to other children at the park, but not to strangers….

Anakku senang sekali mainan “coucou” (Indonesia: ciluk ba). Dia mengerti kalau kita bilang “coucou” (bacanya: kuku). Tetapi nggak terlalu ngerti kalau aku bilang “ciluk-ba”. Kalau “Ba” saja, dia agak ngerti! Si Ayah lebih gila kalau sedang mainan dengan anaknya, maklum…
